Review: I visited a local fireplace showroom and saw the Empire Tahoe 36 Deluxe next to the clean face version and was really impressed with the nice, large, and soft flames that the louvered unit had. I was dead set on the clean face model since we do not like the louver style, but the flames are so much better on the louvered version that we decided to buy it instead. We also looked at the 36 Luxury model and the flame was too flickery and again smaller than this one. I did a lot of shopping around and looking at showrooms before buying the Tahoe Deluxe 36 LOUVERED version. For the price this is the best fireplace. The Kozy Heat Bayport 36 is awesome too, but twice the price. I would definitely recommend directventfireplacestore.com too. You won't find a better price and they will answer any technical questions regarding what to buy, installation, clearances etc.. Great people! I have been very impressed with there support!
