With required Cottage Clay or Cottage Red firebrick and your choice of optional decorative accessories, the HBDV can be customized to suit any style of decor. Review: We were adding a great room to our home and needed to add a real focal point to the room. This fireplace gave the room the touch of class we were looking for. The upgraded remote was well worth it. One thing we did not realize was the amount of heat a direct vent fireplace puts out. We ended up adding the blower after the fact and that has made a big difference in heating the room. All and all we are very happy with the purchase. Its a fireplace that looks as good resting as when burning.
